I’m Manuel Giacometti, I love photography, art and graphics.
Work for 20 years as the creator of images and movement and, along with the evolving technology, I began to serve me well as the camera, Photoshop and other programs that I know well.
I think the image as well as sound, words and dance, are important forms of communication, different ways of transmitting messages of Life.
Creating a feeling of having something that can continue to live and develop in those who also notes, as a creature who speaks for itself and its creator, sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly, almost not wanting to disturb anyone, but always with the enthusiasm and love of life that test a newly blossomed flower.
When I compose a picture I always think the visual and emotional feelings that this arouses in the observer, and I try to immerse themselves in them, as well as looking at the work of another artist, I try to enter her world.
Currently, the technology has greatly extended the horizons of any visual artist, even if many users has led to a fall style that at the time of the dark room would not have been possible.
Is critical to the sense of each artist working with the media today while maintaining the stylistic rigor that has allowed the results of yesterday.

Io, Manuel Giacometti, amo la fotografia, l’arte e la grafica.
Lavoro da 20 anni come creatore di immagini fisse e in movimento ed, evolvendo insieme alla tecnologia, ho iniziato a servirmi oltre che della fotocamera, di Photoshop e di altri programmi che conosco bene.
Penso che l’immagine così come il suono, le parole e la danza, siano forme importanti di comunicazione, modi diversi di trasmettere messaggi di Vita.
Creando un’immagine sento di dare alla luce qualcosa che possa continuare a vivere ed evolvere anche in chi la osserva, come una creatura che parla di se stessa e del suo creatore, a volte a voce alta, a volte sommessamente, quasi a non voler disturbare nessuno, ma sempre con l’entusiasmo e la voglia di vivere che prova un fiore appena sbocciato.
Quando compongo un’immagine io penso sempre alle emozioni visive e affettive che questa suscita nei suoi osservatori, e cerco di immedesimarmi in loro, così come, guardando l’opera di un altro artista, cerco di entrare nel suo mondo.
Attualmente la tecnologia ha enormemente dilatato gli orizzonti di ogni artista visuale, anche se ha indotto molti utilizzatori a una caduta di stile che ai tempi della camera oscura non sarebbe stata possibile.
Sta al senso critico di ogni artista lavorare con i mezzi di oggi pur mantenendo il rigore stilistico che ha consentito i risultati di ieri.
